How is Mubdian responding to COVID-19?
Every product at Mubdian is made-to-order. Right now, our American distribution teams in California and North Carolina are operating at a reduced capacity (less workers available for printing and shipping). As a result, we are experiencing unprecedented delays in getting your items out the door. In some cases, certain American orders are being fulfilled at our distribution in Europe or Mexico if we're finding it will be faster and more efficient. This is why some orders might be separated into multiple shipments. All facilities are practicing extra safety measures.
How long will it take for me to receive my order?
When things were "normal" before the pandemic began, it took a maximum of 7 business days for us to complete an order before it was shipped. Now, our times have slightly increased (see below). Please remember that these timings do not include the time it takes to ship your order (shipping time is selected by the customer during checkout).
- T-shirts and sweatshirts: 8-15 business days (not including shipping)
- Embroidered items: 5-11 business days (not including shipping)
- Mugs, bags, stickers, phone cases: 1-5 business days (not including shipping)
- Prints: 1-5 business days (not including shipping)
- Pillows: 7-12 business days (not including shipping)
It certainly doesn't help that the timings above do not represent any delays that can occur during shipping. While we have not been seeing exorbitant delays with our customers these days, we still strongly encourage shopping early if you need an item for a specific date or event (e.g., Eid or birthdays).
Other companies are much faster even during the pandemic, so what's the hold up?
Mubdian is still a 2-person (read: super small) company. Kindly remember that all of our products are made to order (we do not have inventory on hand, which is why we are not able to ship your order to you within a few days). Your patience during this pandemic means everything to us!
What security measures are you taking while making my items?
We're taking lots of extra measures to keep our workers safe. Shifts are being staggered, a 6-foot distance is observed between each station, break rooms have partitions, and PPE (e.g., gloves and safety masks) are being distributed as often as possible.
We will continue to follow guidelines from the CDC, WHO, US Department of State, local governments, and health agencies and adapt our facility operations accordingly.
Are there any countries you don't ship to because of COVID-19?
We have currently needed to halt shipping to the following countries: Algeria, American Samoa, Antigua and Barbuda, Aruba, Azerbaijan, Bahamas, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belize, Benin, Bolivia, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Cayman Islands, Chad, Cook Islands, Cuba, Curacao, Ecuador, Egypt, Ethiopia, Faroe Islands, Fiji, French Polynesia, Gambia, Ghana, Grenada, Guinea Bissau, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Iraq, Jamaica, Kazakhstan, Kiribati, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Lebanon, Lesotho, Liberia, Libya, Madagascar, Malawi, Maldives, Mauritania, Mauritius, Morocco, Mozambique, Nepal, New Caledonia, Nicaragua, Pakistan, Panama, Papua New Guinea, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Rwanda, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Solomon Islands, South Africa, Sri Lanka, St Martin, Sudan, Suriname, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Tonga, Trinidad and Tobago, Tunisia, Turks and Caicos Islands, Uruguay, Vanuatu, Venezuela, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
We have resumed shipping to China, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova, and Montenegro.
